First things first, and it tripped me up when I saw the label on Spectrum Oil's Safflower High Heat Refined Oil. The "high heat" does NOT refer to how this oil was processed from safflower seeds. Instead, it means you can use this oil to cook at high heat, ie temperatures up to 450 degrees. This oil is in fact mechanically expelled, which is what is preferred over chemical extraction.

Now, the "refined" bit still concerns me, but I have this question posted at the manufacturer's website. I'll report back on that.

Hi I just want everyone to know that is interested in this product, it is excellent. I use it on my hair and skin. I mix half safflower oil and half olive oil, then I heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds; it make a great conditioner for your scape. Also I have used it in lotion, just put about 1 tablespoon in your lotion and it leaves your skin silky soft and smooth. It suppose to help you lose weight, but I have yet to mustard enough strength to try it. Whenever I ruin out I will definitely be ordering some more of this product. Oh by the way you can't find it in the stores. I have tried already. My mother, sister-law and nieces have tried it.and they all loved it. Before I forget this very important information This product will leave your hair silky and soft for days. I used this product once a week, my other family members use it twice a week.
